Niger Delta Avengers blow up Shell pipeline in Warri

The Niger Delta Avengers, on Wednesday confirmed via popular social media “Twitter” that it has blown up another Trans Forcados Export Pipeline in the creeks of Warri South West Council Area of Delta State.

The attack which occurred 10:45pm on Tuesday night, was confirmed by Avengers spokesman, Mudoch Agbinibo, on his Niger Delta Avengers Twitter handle.

He said the attack was in warning to oil companies in the Niger Delta region against carrying out repair works on any of the damaged line.   

The tweets read, “Today at 10:45pm our elite strike team (strike team 6) has blown up the Forcados Export Pipeline. This action is to further stress that we don’t appreciate the repairs of blown pipelines.”

Recall that Operations Delta Safe around Batan community repelled them from carrying out a similar attack on another pipeline that fields the Forcados Export Terminal operated by Shell/ Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) with crude on Tuesday.
