AS preparations remain in high gear to swear in the U.S. President-elect, Mr. Donald Trump, with invites extended to dignitaries all over the world to witness the inauguration of the next occupier of the most important office in the world, Nigeria's immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan has been invited to witness the inauguration while his successor was not.

Reports say Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria's current president was completely ignored by the Trump's inauguration team.

Donald Trump, other things being equal, would be taking his oath of office on Friday, January 20, 2017, as the President of the most powerful country in the world.
