Gov Okorocha's wife critcizes Imo women, urges them to control their environment

The wife of Imo state governor, Nneoma Nkechi Rochas Okorocha has  advised women across the country to take charge of their environment  with the view of having effective control so as to guarantee positive  change.

Nneoma Okorocha who is the wife of Imo state governor, Owelle Rochas  Anayochukwu Okorocha disclosed at the Imo International Conference  Centre, Owerri during a programme organized by the state ministry of  women affairs.

She pointed out that women are unique and special creature insisting
that “to be bold for change entails a courageous woman rediscovering  herself and potentials. To discover who she is and what God deposited  in her to rule her environment.”

The governor’s wife further warned women to be mindful of the people  they associate themselves noting that women have the potentials of  making positive change as nothing could be perfected without the  inputs of women.

Mrs. Okorocha who is also the chairperson of the Southern Governor’s  wives forum enjoined women to jettison low esteem and that the  position of womanhood calls for responsibilities and re-examination.
While challenging women for a clarion call, she assured that soon “Imo
women will be reference points in terms of positive changes in  families and our society” and urged them to demonstrate some degree of  wisdom in boldness.

She further asked Nigerian women to be ready to do exploits and accord  recognition to God’s Supremacy in their families and other endeavors.
