Gripped with fear over Buhari's failing health NASFAT begings another intensive prayers for Buhari

The Nasirul-Lahi-l-Fathi Society of Nigeria (NASFAT) on Friday organised a Special Jumat prayer for the country, Nigeria, the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari and Nigerians in general.

The Special prayer session was led by the Zonal missioner and Chief Imam of NASFAT Mosque, Abuja, Imam Sharafudeen AbdulSalam Aliagan who thanked Allah for seeing President Muhammadu Buhari through in his health condition throughout his stays in United Kingdom and for his safe return to the country hale and hearty.

"We want to indeed thank Almighty Allah for seeing through the health condition of our dear President Muhammadu Buhari throughout his stays in the United Kingdom and return him back to us hale and hearty. May He be thanked and glorified". Aliagan prayed.

The NASFAT Chief Imam however seek for the divine intervention and direction for the country, the countrymen and more importantly, the Mr. President to lead the country aright and to the path of prosperity in all facets of our national life.

According to him, "We seek Allah's divine intervention and direction on the affairs of this great country, Nigeria and Nigerians; direct our President and members of his cabinet to the path of economic prosperity, political stability, social justice and ethno-religious tolerance."

In his Jumat sermon, Imam Aliagan admonished Muslims on the power and significance of prayer, he urged Muslims to take prayer seriously in everything they are doing, saying that, only prayer can change our situation for the better.

Aliagan pointed out that Muslims are yet to realise the power of prayer and therefore joking with it, by not paying the deserved attention while praying.

He said, "Muslims are so blessed with series of prayers that can actually and instantly change our narratives for the better". Advising Muslim to pray and pay due attention to their prayers, he said, Almighty Allah ever listens to prayers.

In a brief remarks by the Chairman NASFAT, Abuja, Dr. Nasir Raji on the special prayer, he said, "the only way we can support our leaders as enshrined in the Holy Quran, particularly, Mr. President is through prayers, which NASFAT is known for, this is not the first time, in NASFAT, it has become a point of duty to pray for the country, our leaders and the countrymen in general.

Dr. Raji also thanked Allah for the safely return of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The special prayer was offered immediately after the Friday Jumat prayer and was well attended by Muslim faithfuls.
