Missionary Couple urge Buhari to set Kanu, El-Zakzaky free now

The Missionary Couple, Pastor Enoch Iburene and his better half, Pastor Lovina Iburene, are of The Truth Ministry of Christ Bringing The Truth that set believers free. The Couple recently stormed the Champion Newspapers Limited Corporate Office at Ilasamaja Lagos with a clear, unambiguous and strong message to Nigerians: “That we must repent of our sins, return to Almighty God or face His wrath”.

The duo also had strong words for Nigerian public office holders including President Muhammadu Buhari and Governors some of who they accused of unbridled corruption and human rights violations even as they demanded immediate release of the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu and head of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), otherwise known as the Shiite sect, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife, Malami Zeenat.

According to them, ''The point I am making is that the whole system is bad and God want everybody to come back to Him. I tried to take this message to President Buhari but didn’t succeed because they stopped me at the gate. I visited the NUJ chairman in Abuja and he received me in his office.''

Continuing , ''What I am saying is that every system is corrupt and we must all go back to God. Please no government has the right to detain somebody endlessly without charging him to court. The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Kanu has committed no crime and he should be released. Also, Buhari should free detained leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), otherwise known as the Shiite sect, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and his wife, Malami Zeenat .

''They have been detaining them without taking them to court since December 2015 and we say we are in a democracy and the federal government is keeping quiet on the matter. The International Criminal Court (ICC), Amnesty International and other world bodies should investigate extra judicial killings in the country since Buhari became president in 2015, especially the murder of over 300 Shi’ite Muslims in Zaria and killing of over 150 Biafra activists. The federal government is still detaining the couple despite an order by Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Fedaral High sitting in Abuja for their unconditional release in December last year. The senseless killings by the Nigerian Army, the Fulani herdsmen must stop, the Inspector-General of Police must call his officers and men to order. Everybody must now imbibe Godliness to avoid a state of anarchy because God says in the Book of Proverbs that ‘righteousness exalt a nation’……….And Buhari must forget any attempt to Islamize the nation because it is a foolish attempt and it won’t work. Everyone must come back to God., they added.
