“I congratulate with my warmest wishes our Jewish citizens on the occasion of Pesach, one of the major holidays of Judaism representing the liberation of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt.

Pesach, also known as the Feast of Unleavened Bread, is one of the most significant signs, which show that all our citizens can freely practice their own cultures, beliefs and traditions.

The Turkish Jewish Community, an inseparable part of our society for centuries, greatly contributes to our country in all areas of our economic, commercial and social life.

On the occasion of Passover, I congratulate all Jewish people, particularly our Jewish citizens, who are equal individuals of our country and with whom we live together in peace. Peace be upon you!”
