BOYCOTT: KOGI BY-ELECTION SAGA AND WHY YOUR PVC IS USELESS AND MEANINGLESS.

0

I often tell people that no amount of PVC can remove the APC from government in 2019 election, because PVC belong to APC and there's nothing anybody can do about it. The best way to deal with the monsters parading as APC in government is total boycott. Obtaining PVC and casting your vote is giving them the opportunity to rig the elections and remain in power.

USING KOGI STATE AND KASTINA AS A CASE STUDY.
It was reported that APC won in three states in the recent concluded by-elections that took place in Kogi state and others. The report stated that Kogi and Katsina chapters of the People’s Democratic Party rejected the results of the Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency and Katsina North Senatorial Zone by-elections, which held on Saturday in the states.

The Chairman, PDP Kogi State, Mr Sam Ohuetu, made the call on behalf of the party at a news conference in Abuja on Sunday. Ohuetu alleged that the election was neither free nor fair, insisted that it was marred by violence, snatching of ballot boxes and vote-buying.

He also alleged that appointees and key officials of the Kogi State Government who were not indigenes or voters in the constituency were seen intimidating and harassing the electorate with thugs and personnel from security agencies.

The PDP chairman said, “Accredited voters were not allowed to vote as armed thugs shot sporadically into the air after accreditation, forcing the electorate to flee. This was widespread in Osuku in the Koton Karfe area of the federal constituency.”

Ohuetu alleged that during the build-up to the by-election, there were credible and reliable reports of the movement of thugs and hoodlums into Lokoja and Koton Karfe local governments from other local governments within the state and from adjoining states into the constituency.

Ohuetu added that the PDP was already drafting a petition to be submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission.

He said, “We reject the results of the by-election in its totality. The election was fraught with vote- buying, using of government officials to coerce traditional rulers, and all sorts of discrepancies that we shall disclose at election tribunal.

“What happened at the by-election was like what happened during the Ekiti State governorship election and all these do not augur well for the development of democracy in Nigeria.

Now, having stated the above report. It is critical clear that the 2019 general election will be deadly. An Igbo adage says that THE SMELLING OF FART DETERMINES THE SWEETNESS OF THE FAECES. in other words, what happened in Ekiti, Kogi and Katsina States are nothing but an iceberg compares to what is going to happen in 2019 general election. Definitely APC will remain in power with or without your votes.  But voting will legalize their fraudulent activities, such as rigging, fake results et cetera. So, the best thing is total boycott. Then they will vote for themselves, rig themselves and call their results. While we are at home eating Ofe Onugbu or Ofe Nsala with chicken. There will no hot sun, no harassment and above all, there will be no death.

Boycott the already rigged fraudulent Nigerian elections and live long or vote and die prematurely in the hands of their thugs and security agencies. The choice is yours now!
