TBRV IS ONE

I was by myself on one cold evening with my phone in hand, what was I doing? I was on Facebook countering the lies our detractors and enemies were dishing out about us.

I was never on this side to be popular or gain people's accolades. I am actually fighting for what I believe is right. If you do things like this, especially out of your own volition and self-conviction, you will always be passionate and dedicated.

It was that evening that I was accosted by Her Excellency Oluchi, she slid into my messenger with the guile of a Facebook Casanova trying to clamp down on his crush. We talked about so many things and one of them was to be an editor of THE BIAFRAN RESTORATION VOICE (TBRV). Since it was Biafra, I accepted without thinking further.

In all, I was awed by the enthusiasm of a young woman, my greater surprise was the package called TBRV. A Biafran media wing, made up of voluntary, yet passionate writers. Media is a tool if judiciously used can influence the people positively. We all know the lie that is a country called Nigeria. The country was founded on falsehood and still being sustained by falsehood. What is the implication of this? It means that even her media houses operate with falsehood and so by further implication, what the masses are fed with is falsehood.

For Biafrans to be free from these chains of falsehood, we needed to have a media institution that tells it right and counter the plethora of falsified data dished out as information. We needed to speak to Nigerians and our people on the way forward.

TBRV, for a year now has been standing and still grinding. Each passing day, we improve on our information dissemination prowess.

We will still be here after our sovereign nation is achieved, we will still hope to continue dishing out the right information and gist. We shall still stand on the side of the people, we shall still condition the government to throw her weight on her responsibilities.

We are never deterred by anyone and we shall still continue as we celebrate a year of fruitful strife and a year of steady and unhindered Biafran evangelism.
