WHY DOES NIGERIA AND POLITICIANS LOVE BIAFRANS' VOTES BUT HATES THEIR IDENTITY?
The spate of confusion and wickedness running in the
annals of eastern politicians and the country itself against the people of old
eastern region also known as Indigenous People of Biafra and other indigenous
ethnicities is alarming. Their low level of thinking which has made them and
the country a laughing stock before the common masses and world at large is
worrisome and lugubrious.
It's feverous that even with big certificates acquired or
award conferred on them, the politicians from the old eastern region in
collaboration with the federal government has denied the knowledge of, or are
oblivious of the concept of indigenousness of a people and their inalienable
rights as provided in the UN charter which they're signatory to. The autonomy
of the people residing in a territory before the civil war is still preserved
and respected in and around the world except in an insane clime like Nigeria
where the indigenous people are treated with disdain and often threatened with
annihilation. The recently renewed killings around the country since past few
years is not unlinked to hate and drive to annihilate the true owners of the
land by foreigners
In 2017 the eastern governors in malice,
self-egocentricism and ignorance proscribed the activities their own people -
the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), which they themselves are and share
same identity with. This they did because of the rising trust and support
garnered by Nnamdi and IPOB in their advocacy for equity, fairness to all, and
renegotiation of unity of the country through UN supervised referendum. As
though it's a written script, the federal government weighed in to declare the
entire eastern people, the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) a terrorist group
in their false claim that it's a peace-discordant group. How grievously
erroneous are they in that despicable and laughable act! No wonder the world kept
laughing and mocking the country till date and distanced themselves from
supporting the proscription.
IPOB keeps on waxing stronger, making allies and opening
units everywhere around the world. The time to maintain the proscription and ensure no disbanded
group comes near pooling units is coming close, all of a sudden, the
proscribers and endorsers turned friends and wished we forget about the
proscription and come out en masse and vote for them. How stupidly callous and
selfishly characterized are these thinkers and their supporters. Does voting
make Biafrans an unproscribed group or make right the wrongs done to the region
and their identity? How the thought to placate the oppressed, marginalized
region with in-house servitude VP slot which will certainly fall like a pack of
card, came after so many decades of exclusion is still a wonder. But nevertheless,
we the people are not unaware that the plot is to test our resolve on freedom
of Biafra and to deviate our minds from quest for total freedom success of
which will lay to oblivion the overlordship by politicians, looting of public
wealth and, subjection and suffering of the people. The people shall once again
prove their resoluteness for freedom of Biafra. We can't be shunned to deny our
identity only to be called with same glorious and sweet identity because
election is around the corner. We have accepted the terrorist ban and hence
warn that we be left alone and let the country continue with their election.
We are terrorist because we are Biafrans. Terrorists don't vote and we Biafrans must
boycott every Nigeria election until referendum date is given
Come quickly oh Biafra!
