OGONI CLEAN UP AND THE POLITICS BEHIND IT: BIAFRA THE SOLUTION

0

The 200 billion dollars or 1 dollar allocated as the cost of clean-up in Ogoni that was expected to have started and to continue for the next 25 to 35 years does not attract any Ogoni son or daughter who is truly spirited because we know that all attempts will be made as already seen to use such radio and television media coverage to create tension in Ogoni and kill another set of leaders. Ken Saro Wiwa and his own generation of Ogoni Leaders asked for clean-up of Ogoni and he with his companions on that journey were divided by Shell and the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba cabals. They ensured they killed all of them. Ogonis are wiser now especially after the death of Clement Faah, the Ogoni born UN Consultant and Soil Scientist who pioneered the test/quantification of the pollution of the Ogoni land and attracted the UN. Why should such a man be gruesomely murdered. Such a scientist of international repute, a man who devoted his resources and life to scientifically prove that Ogoni and the rest of Biafra land needed clean up. He was killed with his friend Barineka a CIA member and Canadian Citizen by unknown gun men while just sitting in front of Clement Faah's house in Yeghe. To show the apathy to our deaths, no one till date amongst the UN has asked about his death even when UN has the best of satellite cameras especially in Ogoni. As usual, it has been termed political killing and it ends there.

The bizarre thing is that Mrs. Amina the former minister of environment and a staff from UN who has since gone back to her duty post in Geneva was asked by Buhari (now Jubrin) that he should tell Ogonis to allow the British Shell to resume drilling activities in OML 11 in Ogoni oil fields and that the money from such activities will be devoted to the clean-up of the land. This is the most laughable and ridiculous statements I have ever heard from a president in my entire life.

Who do Buhari think Ogonis are? Who does he think Biafrans are? We are like other Jews; Nobel Prize Winners and leaders in many professional fields of life. We are neither naive nor ignorant or babies he can order around. Step down Mr. President, resign from office, stop further campaign for a second term oh you certificateless, compound illiterate, lifeless President, you have failed, there is hunger in the land and you have not been able to fulfil any of your campaign promises nor have you been able to adequately resolve any of the problems or issues you met on ground. We are resolute. We can clean our land in a Restored Biafra. The noble woman did not waste her time with a brainless President, but quickly resigned and went back to UN. Amina, Ogonis still love you. You can remarry here, if need be.

President Barack Obama of USA relocated his office to the Gulf of Guinea when British Petroleum spill took place there, he led the immediate stoppage/clean-up and compensation/negotiations himself. It was given a state of emergency it deserved. The Bodo Oil spill is the highest the globe has ever experienced. It occurred over a decade ago and we are still politicizing it while Ogonis and the rest of Biafrans die daily. If Buhari has attacked the Ogoni clean-up the way he attacked Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is only saying the truth and asking for referendum/freedom of his depraved and alienated fellow Biafrans, his name would have been written in gold among the committee of nations.
