DEAD CONSCIOUSNESS

When a man becomes aware, he starts hustling for everything that makes him truly independent, but where is independence in marriage?

This man spends the whole day hustling while his wife also hustles and tends to domestic chores. This is our lives every day, six days in a week for the rest of our lives.

Maybe the single girl just wants to slay. Maybe that is the summary of her ambition. Something to wear and a place to eat.

Maybe that young guy is so much engrossed in “Yahoo”. His sky is to drive a Benz car sitting on a sagging jean. Whatever gives you orgasm is very minute compared to reality.

While you are in pursuit of happiness, you barely think of the environment you are actually living in.

You are so naive and daft on the scheme of things. When you are told, your ever-foolish self tells you it is propaganda because you are so removed from reality that reality isn't normal to you.

The politicians know that you are so stupid. The Fulani people know that all you care about is your job, how to buy a car and send your kids to the best schools. They know that you know nothing about self-preservation. They know that you know how to deceive yourself with God coming to your rescue. The Fulani knows that you are suffering from your own education. That political correctness will make them kill you one day.

Your politicians know that you don't like anything outside your comfort zone. They know that you are struggling to find a job that can make you build your own house, buy generator and dig borehole. They know that when you get all these, you will feel a ting of pride within your own soul with a congratulatory message to yourself for having escaped the poverty line, the rest can die, even your own kids can go to blazes if they don't make it. They know that when we call for a protest, that bankers won't come out, oil workers won't come out, in fact most who have good jobs will call those protesting "lazy people".

Every day, as you wake up, just know that some people are planning to kill you, some people are planning to steal from you. These plans might not happen immediately, but it is very near and we are already having some tidbits already.

Even for this I have written, some children of dead consciousness will still shout "propaganda", but what again is my own if not to say it.
