THE BURIAL OF A DONKEY

0

For those who want to read more about this topic. Please see Jeremiah chapter 22 Verse 18-22.
"18Therefore, this is what the LORD says about Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah: They will not mourn for him: ‘Alas, my brother! Alas, my sister!’ They will not mourn for him: ‘Alas, my master! Alas, his splendour!’ 19He will have the burial of a donkey — dragged away and thrown outside the gates of Jerusalem. 20Go up to Lebanon and cry out, let your voice be heard in Bashan, cry out from Abarim, for all your allies are crushed. 21I warned you when you felt secure, but you said, ‘I will not listen!’ This has been your way from your youth; you have not obeyed me. 22The wind will drive all your shepherds away, and your allies will go into exile. Then you will be ashamed and disgraced because of all your wickedness" (NIV).

It is embedded in our tradition to honour the dead with a befitting burial, if such a person lived a normal life according to the tradition, rules, norms and values of the people. But if the person committed abomination which eventually led to his or her death, the diseased will be denied the benefit of a befitting burial, the diseased body will be thrown to the evil forest outside the community. It is fully supported by The Almighty Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. In the scripture above, the disobedient king; Jehoiakim was given the burial of a donkey.

It is an honour for a Biafran to be buried in Biafran land not outside the holy land of Biafra, that is why if a Biafran dies in America, the diseased body must be brought home for proper burial. Ever since the news of alleged death of His excellency President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria, hit the social media and went viral, with some pictorial and forensic evidence by the leader of indigenous people of Biafra IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to back his claims. Nigerians have been divided between two schools of thought. While one group believes President Buhari is dead and buried in Saudi Arabia and a possible imposter piloting the affairs of Nigeria in Aso rock. The other school believes the man in Aso Rock is President Muhammadu Buhari.

The issue here is not to convince you on which school of thought to follow, I think I have gone beyond that stage. You are free to believe whatever you choose to. The Issue at stake here is the sacred tradition of our people in line with honouring the dead with a befitting burial in the land of his ancestors so he or she can rest in peace with his or her ancestors. But if the alleged death of Muhammadu Buhari is true, then some people due to their own selfish interests have been used by the supernatural to deny him a state burial as a man who had  served his country, he had been denied  a befitting burial in the land of his ancestors as a man who had used his life to lift the status of the Fulani people, his own people, above every other ethnic group in Nigeria. Some people out of their selfish motives just rewarded him with the burial of a donkey and such people should be apprehended by the First lady, the Fulani people and entire apostles and disciples of one Nigeria. But if Buhari is alive, as some believe, may Allah the giver of life be praised.

The Burial of a donkey is a punishment from Elohim to wicked and disobedient leaders.
