THE PROVERBIAL MBEKWU ANIGA "THE TORTOISE"
As a child, I like moonlight tales a lot, I also
discovered that majority of the wisdom and knowledge needed in this life to
survive every situation are embedded in our folklore, legends and fairy tales.
I can never forget this one story of the tortoise who
boasted that, irrespective of his size, that if there is any chaos and stamped
in the market, that he will personally march on a pregnant woman. I believe he
made that claim to prove to other animals that he is a very strong animal
irrespective of his miniature size. True to his words, on the market day, there
was a stamped and a pregnant woman was killed in a stamped, even though
tortoise was not responsible for the death, he was apprehended because of his
statement while the real culprits sneaked away unnoticed.
The C.P of Abia State; Okon has already told us what his plans
are for IPOB members should they attend the burial of Chief and Lolo Israel
Okwu Kanu on 14th February 2020 these are his plans, just as always, unlawful arrest,
abduction, torture and probably summary execution and mass burial.
We are using this opportunity to put the world on notice,
should there be any case of arrest and extra Judicial killing of Biafrans before,
during and after the burial ceremony, we already know the Tortoise among the animals,
who boasted of killing the pregnant woman in the market place. Abia State C.P
through his boys may finally provide the hot coals that will set the zoo
ablaze. You do not beat a child and ask the child not to cry.
Our only wish on the 14th is to pay the last respect to
our parent, our traditional ruler and the greatest father and mother that ever
lived in this who gave us the greatest leader of all times Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu,
the leader of IPOB. We have come with peace.
May the gentle soul of our father and mother Chief and
Lolo Israel Okwu Kanu continue to rest in the bosom of Chukwu Okike Abiama, Isee
Isee Isee.
