THE LAW THAT GIVES FREEDOM
April 04, 2020 | The Biafra Restoration Voice
An English dictionary defines Law as; the body of rules
and standards issued by a government, or to be applied by courts and similar
authorities. While constitution is defined as; the formal or informal system of
primary principles and laws that regulates a government or other institutions,
it is also a legal document describing such a formal system.
Elohim, out of his abundant love and grace was the first
to give man some moral instructions to help him live a healthy life here on
earth, it was man's nonchalant attitude to His instruction or moral code that
brought eviction from the garden of Eden and its attendant punishment and hardship
experienced by man here on earth.
Elohim did not give man law to just prove his superiority
over man but to help him live life in abundant manner, in good health in wealth
and in prosperity. In the book of James Chapter 2:12 James referred to the law
of Elohim, as the law of liberty, the law that grants us freedom. James 2:12
"Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives
freedom."
Nations make a body of laws to guide and protect her
citizens. But today in our world, especially in the black continent, we see
some people who think they are above the law, which simply means, these people
do not understand the rationale for the law, they don't know that the law was
given as shield and as a protection to all irrespective of class and creed. Now
we a have scourge in our land, imported from God knows where, a deadly one indeed;
Coronavirus, if our leaders were proactive in obeying the laws of the land,
they would not have voted Billions of
Naira in the health sector without having a viable health sector with well-equipped
hospitals to show for it. The masses were treated with disdain and contempt,
left to die in the hands of qualified but underpaid health professionals with obsolete equipment, the ones bought by
Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa in their own time,
so pathetic.
It all started with jettisoning the constitution of the
land, any attempt to request for accounts of stewardship from the politicians
by the masses and government agency according to the constitution, was opposed
and resisted by ethnic and religious sentiments, fuelled by religious and
ethnic bigots as a, diversionary measure away from the reality, another proof
that we are not one and can never be one.
When the Coronavirus started taking its toll of on the countries of Europe , we advised that, there should be border closure as that was
what other countries were doing to protect their citizens, our leaders left our
borders open and even declared Visa on arrival policy for their own
subterranean motives, even those
politicians who returned from the countries where the Coronavirus were
already prevalent, refused to subject
themselves to medical test because they felt they are above the law and they
are super human. Today we are now slaves in our land, you are not allowed to
step out of your house, you are not allowed to congregate in churches and
mosques you are not allowed to travel abroad for treatment, because few people
neglected the law that supposed to grant all of us freedom from known and
unknown endemic and plague.
I cannot over emphasise the repercussions of jettisoning
the law of the land by those who should protect the law of the land, because of
their “I pass my neighbour attitude." We have prayed and we are still
praying that the Coronavirus endemic will come and go and we shall go back to
our businesses again.
I am a Biafran and I have no apology because that's who
we are, Fulanis know who they are, Oduduwa people know who they are, Hausas
know who they are, Gwari people know who they are etc. The evil being perpetrated by Nigeria
politicians will never stop because, they don't have the spirit of nationhood
in their day to day service delivery, because Nigeria was never a nation and
has refused to be a Nation. After over 100yrs of regimental type of marriage of
so many ethnic nationalities and wanton destruction of millions of innocent
lives, Nigeria as still crawling as a malnourished orphan. Nation are organic
creation by divine order not by military force.
Nigeria leaders are only moved by their ethnic and religious
sentiment and it is quite understandable, because there is no basis unity. The
only option left to stop this unwarranted destruction of lives of indigenous population
is total dismemberment of the British supermarket called Nigeria.
In the United State of Biafra, the law of the land will
be supreme as in the days of our ancestors.
