NO TIME FOR LULLABY
June 22 2020 | The Biafra Restoration Voice
It is already Ten O' clock in the morning and Mr. Sluggard
is still sleeping, as usual he wakes up every other day around eleven O'clock,
that has been his usual life style for years. But today Mr. Sluggard could not
be allowed to wake up on his own, he needs to be shouted on, poured a cold
water, if possible given a resounding hot slap to wake him up from his slumber.
It is important we wake him up because the house is
burning and the stench and smoke of the burning items in the house are almost
choking to death those of us who are awake.
Finally, with a hot resounding slap from the caretaker, Mr. Sluggard was woken up from his deep slumber.
this was followed by his rush out of the burning inferno. Mr. Sluggard lost
some of his property but his life was saved.
This is the story of our people; The Biafrans who believe
in one Nigeria, who are still nursing the feeling that Nigeria may one day be
redeemed or revived from her unimpeded nose dive to the bottomless pit.
How do you sing a Lullaby to someone who is fast asleep
in a dangerous and deadly state of emergency where people are hunted and
butchered like wild animals on daily basis, without any one being arrested and
prosecuted?
Many people fault the approach of IPOB towards the
restoration of Biafra even without giving her a workable approach or starting
one for her to emulate. All they do is, sit at the comfort of their homes to
pick holes on the broadcast of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and start immediately to write
trash out of the figments of their imagination on various social media
platforms to attack IPOB and the leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
It is obvious that after the uncivil war and the genocide
of our people the Biafrans by Britain and her allies in 1967- 1970 where over 6 Million Biafrans were
massacred, our people were boxed into a
corner, as some became victims of Post War Trauma Syndrome (PWTS ) being afraid
to stand up to pursue justice for fear of another war, while those who claim to
be political elites were reduced to beggarly elements , playing appeasement
politics with our lives, our natural resources
and common interest of Biafrans
living in the British terror cell called Nigeria.
So, whichever approach Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB adopt
for Biafra restoration was provided by the precarious situation we found
ourselves. So, whichever method the messenger adopts to deliver the message
given to him, we have to accept it as delivered to us. i am not trying to hold
brief for anyone. Let us say the truth and shame the devil.
(1) All our Politicians, the Religious leaders, the
Traditional rulers, the Socio-Cultural groups, The Business Moguls, the
industrialist, the academia believe our people are being marginalised. Yes or
No?
(2) They also believe our religious, traditional, business
and corporate existence as a people are being threatened by terrorism and
economic strangulation. Yes or No?
(3) They believe our land is under occupation by the
Night Marauders from the Futajelo Mountain; the Fulani army of conquest. Yes or
No?
(4) They all believe the Fulanis are above the law and
free from arrest and prosecution. And no Fulani Herdsman, Janjaweed and
terrorists is in jail for raping our daughters and mothers, beheading of men
women and children in our communities. Yes or No?
(5) They believe Nigeria has not provided an enabling
environment for our people to develop to their full capacity and potentials as
people blessed by Elohim. Yes or No?
Why then are we trying to play the ostrich and feign
ignorance in a matter so obvious; that Nigeria want our land and resources without
our people, and so the only option left for us is total dismemberment of the
contraption.
Now for a people in such psycho solitary confinement and
despondency to be awakened by a melodies’ sound of Lullaby; a soothing song to
lull a baby to sleep, is quite absurd and misnomer. Our people do not need
praises from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to wake up our so-called elders and political
elites to their responsibilities, no sir, there is no time for that. They have a
handful of Sycophants already singing their praises ad infinitum, without
giving a damn to the suffering of our people.
Yes, it is true, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu use to insult people,
is that all you know about him, what about the people he normally commends for
being able to stand up to their responsibilities, people like Pa Ayo Adebanjo,
Ayodele Fayose, Bishop Kukah etc. None of these people are Biafrans, what about
his assertions are they all lies? What about his prophesies and predictions are
they not manifesting before us? What then is your problem? He insulted you, but
He meant well for you, he wants you to live up to your expectations. John the
Baptist referred to his own people during his time as " serpents and
vipers" Matt. 3:7 and Luke 3:7 But that did not stop them from repenting
and coming to be baptized by him.
I don't know we have Pastors who listen to Radio Biafra
until the last broadcast where our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu rebuked his fellow servants
of God, who have failed to recognise their roles as shepherds who MUST, I say
MUST give their lives to save the lives of the sheep entrusted into their care
by Elohim. Some of them went to the extent of calling him anti-Christ, others condemned
him for saying he is a Jew.
At least you
people are talking now, it's better than keeping mute.
When two Young Reverend Fathers were kidnapped and killed
in Benue State, another one in Awgu Enugu State, young Seminarians in Northern
Nigeria, a female preacher in the out skirt of Abuja, you all kept mute. Mazi
Nnamdi Kanu's insult to you who said he is an elder, Man of God or Political
elite is actually working, so he won't stop until you all start to speak up
like men who believe there is something called eternal life. No time for a
Lullaby, we are already surrounded by enemies, so those who are sleeping in
this state of emergency deserve more than a slap like Mr. Sluggard. Who was
sleeping while his house was on fire.
