THE SECRET OF MAZI NNAMDI KANU AND IPOB

To know the truth and to be convinced with the knowledge
of the truth is one big thing. And to audaciously speak the truth, damming the
consequences is yet another almighty thing. Because in the world of the truth,
we have three groups of people. First, we have those who know the truth but
they are not convinced with the knowledge of the truth. Therefore, they cannot
speak the truth. Second, we have those who know the truth and are convinced
with the knowledge of the truth, but they are either too scared or compromised.
Hence, they cannot speak the truth either. And third, we have those who are not
only convinced with the knowledge of the truth, they are also purified and
emboldened with the knowledge and conviction of the truth. Therefore, they do
not only speak the truth, they are consistent with speaking the truth.
In Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, we know the truth, we are
convinced with the knowledge of the truth; and we are purified and emboldened
with the knowledge and conviction of the truth. This is the secret of Mazi
Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB. Nothing more, nothing less!
Talking about truth, it becomes important that we ask the
question that comes to mind: What is truth and how do we know the truth?
Because this question, if answered very sincerely and accurately, will enable
us to know the truth when we hear or see it; and also, to know those who speak
and identify with it.
According to Advance English Dictionary, truth is defined
as "conformity to reality or actuality." Merriam-Webster Dictionary
defines truth as "the real facts about something." And with
Wikipedia, "truth is the property of being in accord with facts or
reality."
From these definitions, we can deduce that
"reality," or that which is "real" is what defines truth.
It then means that, the truth of an event, or a prediction, or a set of
propositions, or a statement, or even a stance is its ability to conform to
reality. Some scholars have argued that truth is relative. While this argument
may be applicable to some events; and acceptable to some people, it is
important to note that this "relativity of truth" is often the basis
for bias and prejudice. And so, to get rid of this room for bias and prejudice,
"time" becomes the only reliable test of truth. Because with time,
the true state of events, is revealed.
This philosophical connection between truth and time was
well understood by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. And when he left MASSOB and formed IPOB in
2012, he laid the foundation IPOB's activities on truth. With Radio Biafra, he
started dishing out this message of truth to the world. One of his quotes on
IPOB goes thus: "Do not use IPOB to impress people, use IPOB to impact
people. IPOB possess a pure feeling for beauty, the courage to take risks, the
discipline to tell the truth, the capacity for any sacrifice. Our virtues are a
divine light."
This quote has totally and completely conformed to what
IPOB is today, especially in Nigeria. Knowledge, they say, is power. But I
choose to say that "true knowledge is the true power."
The power that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB possess today is
not from guns and bullets. It is not even from university education, because in
Nigeria, they have a sizeable chunk of people who acquired their university
education from some of the best universities of the world which of course, IPOB
- a congregation of miscreants, do not have the luxury to afford. The power
that we possess in IPOB is simply the power of the truth and the discipline to
tell the truth.
When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said in Nigeria's court that he
will destroy Nigeria with only truths. A lot of people would have wondered what
truth will this black man say that has the capacity to destroy Nigeria. Most
governments of the world, Nigeria not an exception, are diplomatic with
politics. They are politically correct with governance and democracy. And it is
in this “political correctness” or “diplomacy” that a lot of evil, falsehood,
deceits and lies are buried in. They prefer to use codes of politics as tools
to cover up the evil. And so, if anyone lays hold on these “sacred secret grounds
of politics,” the person becomes a figure not to be ignored.
Meanwhile in 2014, he said and I quote, "As they
campaign vigorously for elections, you would think, they are coming to grow the
economy, enthrone justice, breed unity and tolerance, love for one another. No,
they are coming to enthrone Hausa/Fulani supremacy, to reposition the security
agencies by sacking all competent hands and replace them with their kinsmen in
order to drive their ethnic domination of the south. The Fulani Herdsmen will
be armed and encouraged to slaughter us with impunity and their masters will
protect them. They are coming to ensure that my people are enslaved forever.
Those who do not believe me will see it happen before their eyes."
Today, these statements have played out with this
government. All the security agencies are in the hands of Fulani. And now,
notable figures like General T. Y Danjuma, Former President Obasanjo are now
crying out in conformity with the reality of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's 2014 words. If
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB were able to see and say what is playing out today in
2014, then that tells you who we are and the power that we possess.
In 2017, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB told the world that
President Muhammadu Buhari is dead. Many people do not believe him despite all
the forensic evidence he rolls out to support his claim. In fact, a lot of
people called for his head and the army invaded his house in order to kill him
for daring to say that the president is dead. But today, not only that very many
people are believing that Buhari is not in charge of Aso Rock, they are
speaking up about it even on national televisions. But something is still
missing.
If you now believe that Buhari is not in charge of Aso
Rock or this government, which is true, based on his antecedents as a military
head of state, then who is the person in Aso Rock? And where is Buhari? These
are the questions that Nigerians are not asking, and within the answers to
these questions lies their redemption. As for us in IPOB, we know where Buhari
is and we know who is in Aso Rock.
Truth is absolute. Truth is total. And truth is complete.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are absolute with truth because
we are not being restricted by political inclinations/affiliations towards
Biafra restoration and from saying the truths about Nigeria. Nigeria even tried
to use her laws and security systems to refrain us from saying the truths but
we broke that proclivity of bandage. And so, our absoluteness with truth is
such that we are not restricted by anything whatsoever from telling the truth.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are total with truth because we
say the whole truths even when the truths seem not to be on our side. We do not
cut out the part that will sooth our resolve or stance in order to appear
sanctimonious. Because we understand that being selective with truth is more
damaging than falsehood. And so, our totality with truth is such that we say
the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are complete with truth because
in IPOB, we understand that truth is a character. And to express this character
requires discipline. And so, it is this discipline that runs from top to bottom
of IPOB leadership that makes us complete with truth. There have been cases
where coordinators of IPOB have been suspended or expelled from IPOB for lack
of discipline. Because IPOB cannot afford to allow itself to be used by
charlatans for the same thing that she is fighting against for "We Are
Whiter Than White, and Whiter Than Snow."
The colour white is the only colour that has the capacity
to reveal all other colours. So, in IPOB, we do not only reveal all the hidden colours
of evil and falsehood, we also repel them. And we do that so daringly without
minding the consequences because we are sent by Elohim in heaven.
