WHEN THE COCK CROWS

0

July 05 2020 | The Biafra Restoration Voice

My dad did something that really changed my perception about this life. Apart from growing up in the city, he insisted all my secondary education will be in the village so as to be abreast with my root. That was how I got to know that these concepts; knowledge, wisdom, skill, sense, talents. intelligence and smart are not really the same.

When cock crows at dawn in the village the elders know what the cock is saying. When a kite hovers around a house they know what it is looking for. When vultures gather around the village, the elders know the sign of time. When they look up to the sky, they can tell you the age of the moon and they can predict the date of the full moon.

When there is danger in the community, the elder are the ones that will know first, and they are the ones that will summon the community to the village square to alert them on the impending danger and the precautions to take. They are the guardians of their people.

Today, children born and brought up in the city, all these Indomie generation are coming online to write junk and educate elderly people like us, who our elders are or who we should regard as elders and how we should not insult occult men, whose hands are soiled with the blood of our innocent young and vibrant men and women, quite   laughable indeed.

In one of my responses to one Almajiri answering fake Igbo name on social media, I told him that one of the differences between the Igbos and other tribes is that the Igbos own their leaders but in other tribes the leaders own the people.

Do we really have elders? yes and we cherish them a lot. They are with us all the time, they feel our pain and misery and they guard and guide us in every step we take.

Our elders are not those beggarly elements roaming the corridors of power in Abuja bowing down before an uneducated illiterate with forged certificate for a VP slot, it's shameful.

Our elders are not these political touts begging for contracts from the ruling cabal only to pocket the money without executing the contract.

Our elders are not those who align themselves with our enemies because they wish to maintain political relevance in the corridors of power.

Our elders are not those who sell our people to the enemies at the cost of =N=500,000 per head.

Our elders are not those who arrange the military to kill our young men and women whose only crime was a request for freedom.

Our elders are not those that make videos and post them online to deceive and discourage our people from what is the only hope of our survival; Biafra.

Our elders are not those who make donations in public to a government that treat our people with disdain.

Our elders don't travel out of our land in search of job, but stays at home and receive people of honour who desire to pay homage to them and to tap from their wealth of knowledge.

Our elders are not shameless he goats that keep young girls in different brothels in Abuja and other major cities while their wives and children are living at home like fatherless.

Our elders are not those who are afraid of EFCC, because they are men of honour and integrity. Who are bold as a lion and feels free to speak their mind without any intimidation or fear of blackmail.

Our elders do not travel abroad to celebrate the new yam festival but invite their friends from different cultural background to come and cherish our rich cultural heritage here in our land.

Our elders believe so much in the   saying that" the young shall grow" so they nurture the youth and support them financially, materially, morally and spiritually to be able to groom them to be real men of honour.

Our elders don't campaign for supporters they earn it by providing the needed leadership in times of leadership lacuna. Elders are ' trainers of great leaders, they are king makers.

When the cock crows the elders wake up to their responsibilities and they wake up the community in the process. No one can stop a cock from doing its job which was given to it by Elohim not man. So, it is absurd for a man born of a woman to go and close the beak of the cock.

This may sound so foolish to you the reader, but that is exactly what some people you call elders in your naivety are doing, any time they come hard on IPOB. IPOB is doing her part, so do your part, don't stand on our way as a people that need freedom from colonial and neo-colonial Masters parading themselves as anti-corruption czar. When in reality they are corruption personified.

I know our elders, any person whose hand is in the killing of our people during Operation Python dance 1,2&3 is not our elder so do not come to defend him online unless you have chosen to share in his curse.

We will not rest until justice is done.

#justice to victims of operation python dance.
#Justice to Biafrans killed by Nigeria Military and police.

All hail Biafra.
