THESE ARE THE MEN THAT WILL RESTORE BIAFRA

When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), said that he only needs One Hundred Men to restore Biafra, almost every ear that heard it tinged with mixed reactions. Some people saw it as too simple to be true. Others saw it as one of the ways he, Kanu, arrogates unnecessary importance and power to himself. But to those who see in the spirit, whose discerning sense of judgment is not far from their reach. Those who understand that freedom fighting is different from political rhetorics, they know what a herculean task lies ahead of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and what that very statement actually means.

Today, it has become quite clearer to everyone, just like every other word that comes from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s mouth, that Biafra will be restored by only One Hundred Men!

And just like the biblical One Hundred and Forty-Four Thousand souls that would be saved from the wrath of eternal damnation, these One Hundred Men will remain a mystery for both mystics and historian to demystify in time to come.

A lot of people have come to identify with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB. They claim to have the best approach. They claim to have the alternative methods. These are the people who claim to know better, who said they understand our plights more than us and that they know the way forward. When they are given a very little opportunity to showcase what they have, then you realize how vacuous they are. They begin to feel that they have arrived. They start to mess up. They start speaking from both sides of the mouth. We know them, even before they came. And we know that the furnace of purity which IPOB has become will fizzle them away.

The One Hundred Men that will restore Biafra may not be found in the Igbo Intelligentsia. Because with the stark deafening conspiratorial silence of the so-called Igbo intelligentsia in the face of impunity, you will then realize that indifference is a favourable factor of oppression. These Men, may not be found in Igbo leaders and Governors, for we have seen betrayal from those who claim to be our leaders. These One Hundred Men may not be found in our elders, for we have seen, in our land, elders who have lost contact with their bravery and courage to the extent that to speak the truth is a big nightmare for them.

The One Hundred Men that will restore Biafra is found in the young men and women Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is leading in IPOB. These young men and women are dead to everything else except for Biafra, for even if they die in the course of Biafra restoration they live for eternity. And posterity will immortalize them.

These young men and women have forsaken everything else, like the disciples of Christ, to follow Biafra. They have said to Biafra: "for your sake I live and for your sake I die."

Majority of those men have paid the ultimate sacrifice in Biafra land, especially with the recent phenomenal Emene - Enugu Massacre of 23rd August 2020. And for their sake, the dragon flag of IPOB has been raised never to come down until the sun rises never to set again!
