THE TASK MASTERS
F reedom is taken not given. This is a bitter truth that most of us fail to appreciate. One of the reasons why IPOB is getting it right is that they are ready to go through all the huddles; unlawful arrest by Nigeria security agents, abduction, incessant extra-judicial killings, illegal incarceration and intimidation just to give one freedom.
No Slave master willingly sets his slaves free.
In the book Exodus 5:1-end; after Moses and Aaron were sent to meet Pharaoh concerning the freedom of their people, instead of granting them freedom, Pharaoh was angered, he was so furious that he increased their daily task. The slaves were even commanded to build bricks without the daily provision of straws by the task masters. It got so bad the people murmured against Moses and Aaron for bringing more punishment to them. Moses even went back to complain to Elohim concerning the "negative" outcome of obeying his instruction to confront Pharaoh to set His people free.
This is exactly the condition of the indigenous communities trapped in the British contraption. Let us examine the job of the Taskmasters since the current regime received a clarion call to set Biafrans free.

The taskmasters collect tax on your own money in the bank if you want to withdraw above their stipulated amount. The people are made to buy fuel at high price.
The people are forced to pay a high electric tariff even when they are not enjoying adequate power, they were even denied access to prepaid metres to know how much they consume.
The Fulani herdsmen are doing a nice job of destroying farm lands and food crops, chasing farmers away from the farm, raping women and beheading farmers, so that the people can only buy food from the Taskmasters at the expense of their freedom.
Taskmasters are holding down your so-called elites, seizing state powers and offering them crumbs from the Taskmasters’ table, that’s why they have been turned to errand boys, Saboteurs and Traitors so that they may be allowed to pick crumbs from their "master's table."
With all these monies they make from the poor, your Taskmasters are complaining of lack of fund to run their Government, they have even contemplated selling your sovereignty to build infrastructure for themselves.
All these economic strangulations are targeted at those who desire to be free. Today, a bag of rice in the Southern Nigeria is more costly than your much talked about minimum wage.
You should brace up for the worst, but I know that in the end, Biafra shall be fully restored.
